whoa! that IS a unique sign, the advert perched on the motorcycle trailer =] hmmm i fear this mode of advertising will reach Manila soon enough... and add to the visual clutter plaguing the city... *crossing my fingers it won't!*
That's an interesting way to advertise. It looks a bit dangerous, distracting the drivers and cutting off their vision. Have a great weekend Napaboaniya.
Well, the advertising on the motorcycle is cool. They should do that in Malaysia too.. haha. People just won't listen, that's the reason they created signs. But how effective it is when the person involved does not know how to read?? Haha :P
Just where it's not supposed to be, there it is. Familiar. :D
There are moving advertisements here in Manila which did not seem to work as I see less of them already. Some drive at a very low speed which disturbs a lot of motorists (though traffic is pretty heavy from where I am).
I have never seen such an ad on a motorcycle before. I think it may too low and easily blocked by other vehicles to catch the attention of busy pedestrians or other road users.
As for the second sign, the cyclist found it convenient to chain his bike to the metal bar. He may probably missed the sign that is too high up from the metal railing.

I didn't notice the signs on motorcycles in Seoul.... probably eyes too busy looking at the merchandise. hehe.....
the advertisement on the bike is really something new to me. never knew such thing existed :P
have a great weekend ahead ! :D
Oh I like the ads on the motorcycle! Must be lively and colourful seeing these ads around on the streets.
Same here, motorcycle as ad surface is new to me! great takes on the theme! Happy PH :)
My pic is posted here.
Motorcycle ads is not the "in" thing here, they have small trucks with ads. Hmmm..just as we are supposed to save on gas :)
Have a great weekend, Ling.
Hahaha that is too funny! Excellent take on the theme :) Happy PH!

Those are both great for the theme and the second one is hilarious.
Great choices! I'venot seen motorbike drawn adverts in London yet. Only a matter of time I would imagine! Happy weekend
Loved your signs. Never saw signs on motobikes before. That last sign is funny. Good Post!!
The second photo reminds me a lot of places that has no parking sign yet there are still parked cars nearby. Happy hunting.
haha - the latter must have been a very shy person who do not dare to look up. LOL
Great entry
I've not seen sign on motrocycles here. Very unusual!
Definitely haven't seen the motorcycle ad before.
I think someone did not see the sign
they say dun park in front but never mention dun park sideways! ahaha.

The "no bicycle parking" sign gave me a giggle - thanks :D

advertisers here use bigger vehicles, lol. that second shot is funny! :)
you did well! :) I struggled with this one.
happy weekend!
A "moving" advertisement is a great way to get optimize attention.
Funny how the person could have missed that sign or perhaps he/she deliberately ignored it.
Ha! Very unique way to advertize. It's great that you caught the shot of the bicycle illegally parked!!
Really great choices! I've never seen an ad on a motorcycle before.
This is nice one for photohunt. I was wondering what to put up. I will return to leave my link. :)
Hi from Australia - I like your signs. :)
The second one is a classic...
That's very unique indeed! And the second one, what an obvious breaking of rule! Great posts Elaine, =)

That sign looks heavy for them to be hauling it around. The other photo, yes alot of people do not read signs.
maybe they should add this sign: STOP AND READ. lol! nice picks! :)
mine's up HERE. hope to see you there! :)

That second one is a RIOT!
Great signs, Elaine! And a good way to advertise - by motorbike! Sorry about losing a friend... But you have me as a friend, right? :D
Elaine, I'm tagging you for Trav's First Meme. It's fun! Don't feel compelled to do it!
Nice pics.
A lot of people don't pay any attention to signs. Not just bicyclists.
Very unique. I saw one here one time...but it carried a dog in sunglasses.

I haven't seen ads on a motorcycle. Around here they drive trucks with ads.
now that's a unique idea of advertising. never seen one in the Philippines yet.
I wonder how much they pay the motorcyclist ? I heard ads can now be placed on private cars too, in S'pore. But I guess nobody would want it :P
