All different species of orchids.
Trust my 6 year old son to give us a tour of the place since his teacher brought the whole school there for an excursion recently. He was raving about a 'Water Park' there. Thinking it should be fun we followed him around the place hunting down the so-called 'Water Park'.
This was the 'Water Park'.
The water park was nothing worth the excitement at all!!!
IT Show 2008 Singapore
After dinner with L. We headed to Suntec Convention Hall for the IT Show 2008. The place was packed with people!! I'm lucky to have survived in midst of the crowd and not getting squashed to death! Some really cool cheap deals at the show. I wanted to get an external hard-disk since my current notebook is almost up to the 'brim' loaded with photos and music files. But the flow of people there was a killer! It was walk ahead walk ahead and avoid been squashed to death as top priority.

wow!!! orchids!! i love them, i was able to grow orchids before, just 2 kinds, but I guess i dont have that green thumb that they say though...lovely...everything is just lovely here...happy weekend

i'm actually LOLing. you know how kids are into exaggerating things. they're simply amusing.
i love the shot of the flowers though. very calming. they relieved my headache.

hehehe.... I almost went to Mandai Orchid Gardens this morning, but it was raining very heavily, so I gave up.
I will NEVER go to another computer fair no matter how cheap things are. Yucks.

Ling, having a terrible time with my cable connectivity. I was lucky this time to get to you and say your post is funny! - some Water Park. Ha! Don't give up on me if I don't get around to you for a couple of days. My cable company is promising me that Wednesday things will be much better...Ha!

i was at the it show on sat evening, quite a huge crowd, need to squeeze here and there.
initially wanted to get an external HDD, but later just think save $$ first and get a 2GB thumb drive!
Geez...I forgot there is an IT show going on now! Gosh, missing all those goodies! But in a sense, can I say I'm lucky not being to attend? Coz if I were to, I would end up spending $ on that ultra mobile PC I've been dreaming of recently :O
