Oh, great choice! I hate to see that too. And it's so unnecessary. Crappy people. We've had a very clean country so far, but now we start to see litter here and there too. No good.

Either the owner was walking so fast that he missed the chute, or he's just plain insensitive to get back and pick it up again. Either way, it's so sad indeed.

I agree with your photo! So sad! People are just so lazy
your picture reminds me of a homeless person I'd encountered in NY. A woman threw her unfinished salad takeaway into the bin and this was picked up by a homeless man who immediately eats from it. It was quite shocking at first sight.
